When antibiotics were first developed in the 1940s, most bacterial diseases could be controlled by them. Today, the diversity of bacteria is increasing, and many bacteria are now resistant to many antibiotics. One possible explanation for this change is that -

carbon traps heat so more of it makes it hotter causing global warming. during the ice age carbon levels in the atmosphere were low so it got very cold. so the common things between them is carbon levels in the atmosphere.
