If there's a higher concentration of solutes outside of the cell what will happen

If there's a higher concentration of solutes outside of the cell (the solution is known as hypotonic solution) then the cell will swell up as the solutes will flow into the water through the process of osmosis. The cell may also swell up & burst (if it's an animal cell).
