Temperate marine climates are located along the edges of the continents. These are found in the temperate zone, where ocean have little effect on the climatic conditions of the region. These climates are called as mesothermal zones. These climates are typically characterized by warm to hot summers with plenty of humidity and mild winters. The three kinds of temperate marine climates are Mediterranean,humid subtropical and marine west coast. All these climates vary in the amount of rainfall they receive, average temperature and types of vegetation.
