An adaptation can be defined as the change or alteration that occurs in the structure or function of the organism due to the effect of natural selection, which favors the survival of the organism in it's changing environment.

Lions are largest carnivorous animals. They belong to the family of cats. These are mammals which live in groups. The lion population shows sexual dimorphism, which means males and females can be easily distinguishable by their physical appearance. Lions are predatory animals, which means they kill other animals to obtain their food (prey). They are adapted to capture their  large and small prey by hunting. They have strong jaws and sharp teeth to caught the prey in one go. They firstly kill their prey by biting the prey's windpipe and thus suffocating the animal. The killed animal or prey can then easily be consumed.

Therefore, strong jaws is the adaptation the lion have to help them to hunt baffalo.
