Tundra plants are small and grow low to get warmth from the ground,dark in color to better absorb sunlight

In the biome, "Arctic Tundra", Tree growth is hindered by low temperatures, and then there is low mass production in vegetation. The Energy used in their formation by the vegetative would be equivalent to the energy provided by them to the biodiversity. So, the input and Output energy is equal. Hence, it obeys the law of conservation of Energy
