The water of the ocean has been contaminated which is responsible for the decrease in the biodiversity of the oceanic ecosystem. The trash from the cruise ship is the relevant option because the release of contaminants may float over the water and depletes the entry of the atmospheric oxygen into the water. The limitation of oxygen and contamination of water can be responsible for the mortality of the sea animals.
