Lines of evidence from many fields of study, from fossils to dna sequences, have been important in developing evolutionary theory. why is it important to have supporting evidence from a variety of fields?

a. it lends strength to the argument if evidence from a diversity of fields results in the same conclusion.
b. asking scientists from a variety of fields to test the ideas means more scientists will take an interest in promoting the theory.
c. if a theory can encompass many different fields of study, then financial funding for future testing of the theory would be easier to attain.
