Electrons have successfully been transported from NADH through the ETC and arrived at Oxygen.. Thus far, has the ETC generated any ATP? A- yes through substrate- level phosphorylation. When an electron moved from one part of the ETC to another, this also led to a phosphate group being transferred from the ETC complete to a molecule of ADP to make ATP. B- no, as a result of electron transport some components of the ETC have pumped protons to one side of the membrane. However these protons still need to flow down their concentration gradients to cause ATP synthase to be activated and synthesize ATP
