roughages has fibers which prevents constipation

fibres helps muscles to move stronger to move food to required places and for excretion by peristalsis in small and large intestine so without fibre ,these muscles wouldnt work correctly and causes constipation

the sphincter muscles at the end of the digestive tract is the anus.
