El concepto biológico de especie define una especie como los miembros de poblaciones que se reproducen o pueden reproducirse entre sí en la naturaleza y no de acuerdo a una apariencia similar. Aunque la apariencia es útil para la identificación de especies, no define una especie.
TAXONOMÍA
La taxonomía es la ciencia que estudia los principios, métodos y fines de la clasificación. Este término se utiliza especialmente en biología para referirse a una clasificación ordenada y jerarquizada de los seres vivos.
Por lo tanto, estos conceptos nos ayudan a dar nombre e identificar a los seres vivos en grupos o taxones lo cual facilita el estudio de estos.

TAXONOMÍA.
La taxonomía biológica clasifica de forma ordenada a los seres vivos. La clasificación, niveles o categorías taxonómicas son importantes ya que ayudan a evitar la confusión entre las especies al regirse por un sistema universal. De esta manera, sirve para que la comunidad científica pueda definir sin errores al ser vivo que pretenden estudiar o nombrar.
La taxonomía biológica es una disciplina dentro de la biología sistemática que estudia las relaciones evolutivas y de parentesco entre las especies que definirán las categorías taxonómicas.
ESPECIE.
Una especie es un conjunto de organismos que son semejantes porque tienen uno o más atributos o características en común, que permiten clasificarlos en una misma categoría. En biología y en taxonomía, la especie biológica es el conjunto natural de individuos que tienen características semejantes o en común y son capaces de reproducirse entre sí, creando descendencia fértil, por tanto, proceden de antecesores comunes.
