QUESTION 3 3.1. A scientist designed an experiment to investigate the water holding capacity
of sand, loam and clay soil. A soil sample of each soil type was places in
funnels lined with filter paper. 100 cm of water was added to all three
samples at exactly the same time. The filtrates were collected in measuring
cylinders. The results are shown in the table below.
