Why is making a prediction important in the scientific process?​

Predictions provide a reference point for the scientist. If predictions are confirmed, the scientist has supported the hypothesis. If the predictions are not supported, the hypothesis is falsified. Either way, the scientist has increased knowledge of the process being studied.

well first you need the sample of the temperature and gas level. i couldnt write a hypothesis unless i had some data. i think temperature changes will effect volumes of gas because gas changed into a solid or liquid at specific temperatures.
