What did the water on the penny dipped into soapy water look like?

You will see a bubble or dome of water forming on top of the penny:)

I did this expirement in my bio class a week ago the non soapy water took 25 drops the soapy water did 27 I was really careful

Although i don't know what is the simulated system, starfish are predators that eat mostly  microalgae,  snails, sponges, bivalves, mussels and other small marine animals. removing starfish from any system would definitely increase this animals that they prey.
