3. If metabolism is chemical reactions-- what is the difference between "chemistry soup" in a beaker and biochemistry in a living cell? Define the "energy problem" that all chemical reactions present, then discuss the two molecules that cells use to solve that problem. Describe the process of how these two molecules work: that is, in addition to saying what they "do", be sure to include specific information about how it happens. It should be clear how the structure of these two molecules is important to getting their jobs done.
