Decide what is wrong with each statement, and rewrite it correctly.
a. If Visking tubing containing a sugar solution is put into a beaker of water, the sugar solution moves out
of the tubing by osmosis.
b. Plant cells do not burst in pure water because the cell wall stops water getting into the cell.
c. When a plant cell is placed in a concentrated sugar solution, water moves out of the cell by osmosis,
through the partially permeable cell wall.
d. Animal cells plasmolyse in a concentrated sugar solution.
