A group of 5 farmers want to know if the crops that they are growing are GMO free so that they can sell to a local farmers market. One crop from each farmer was given to a biotech company for DNA analysis. A cob of maize, one papaya fruit, one watermelon, one strawberry, and one blueberry were submitted and compared the DNA to GMO and non-GMO counterparts.
