The aliens feel like they have really gotten a good grasp on how humans think thanks to your hard work and dedication. However, they are less certain of the big picture. They really only have a single question for you..."Beep moop blark opoly?" You *think* this can be translated as "What's the most important part (of your model)?". BUT...it might also mean... "What's the most important assumption (of your model)?". Two very different questions. I think the best way to handle this is to use their question (and your lack of clarity on it) to walk them through your model. Illustrate/Draw YOUR entire model. It cannot be a singular black box and must include a way to account for ALL of the components outlined below. The aliens should be able to get a very clear understanding of how things work based on this model, so be careful to use arrows, circles, labels, etc. Make sure that it is detailed enough that they could teach it to the other aliens arriving from the mothership.

Now, please be sure to explain (briefly) each of these components and how your model explains them in relatation to your interpretation of the aliens question (being clear with the aliens that you are struggling). Your model will need an input (your interpretation) and an output (a final culminating answer to the question) taken through each of the steps of your model (being SURE that you address each of the below).
