The Earth's internal structure, i.e. the entire composition of the planet formed by the surface and all that is below it, is formed by various shapes, temperatures and chemical compositions aspects. For a better understanding of how the planet is structured, it developed a classification that gave rise to what we now understand by the earth layers. Altogether, the planet has three main layers and two discontinuities which are structures found between one layer and another. It is the smallest planet structures, but it is more important to human activities. It is primarily composed of light rocks, with the predominant mineral silicon, aluminum and magnesium. In continental areas, it presents a variation 20-70 km thick, measures that decrease in ocean areas where the variation is 5-15 km. Below the crust is the discontinuity of Mohorovicic or simply Moho. In it, the seismic variations tend to be faster and more fluid in relation to its external composition. The second layer is the Earth's mantle. This has depths ranging from 30 km below the surface to 2900 km, and internal temperatures going up to the 2.000ºC, which facilitates the melting of rocks, turning them into magma. In the internal mantle, the material is more fluid, given that temperatures are higher; already in robe the magmatic material is more pasty. Just below the mantle is another discontinuity, the Wiechert-Gutenberg, also known only as Gutenberg discontinuity. It is fully liquid and has a temperature higher than the mantle. The third and final layer of the Earth's core. It is not known exactly what its composition, but there are strong indications that it is composed of an alloy of iron and nickel, which should also involve other chemical element still unknown. The outer core is in the liquid state and the inner core is solid under the influence of the internal pressure of the earth on it.
