1. Homeostasis - An organism can change internally or externally concerning the changes that take place in the environment.

2. Metabolism - The ability to obtain nutrients, take in oxygen and transform the nutrition and oxygen into energy and cellular components.

3. Heredity - The ability to pass on characteristics possessed by an organism whether physical or mental to their offspring is called heredity, 

4. Cells- are living organism is made up of the basic structural and functional unit of life called a cell.
