How are species related to the concept of biodiversity

Same species of animals are alike physically in all ramification, but they are different from animals of another species. There are thousand of different species of animals in the world and they contribute to biodiversity that exists in the ecosystem. The variety of different plants and animals in the world contributes to biodiversity which is considered very important in any community. 

It may have some of the same features that it’s mother does but, it may have some of the same features that it’s father has as well.
