Sharks obtain all of their energy by eating other marine organisms, such as fish. suppose that a marine scientist measures the chemical energy found in a system consisting of a fish and a shark. after the shark consumes the fish, the marine scientist finds that the total energy in the system decreases. if true, would this result validate or invalidate the law of conservation of energy? why or why not?
