The inner core is solid in nature. They are comprised of heavy and denser materials such as Iron (Fe) , Nickel (Ni) and other siderophile elements. The pressure in the core is very high and is about 350 gigapascals on an average. This high pressure in this region is because of the accumulation of the denser materials that formed during the time of accretion.

The temperature of the inner core is extremely high and is about 6000°C because of the presence of hot dense materials.

The density also is the maximum at this region and is approximately 13 g/cm³ .
