How are lysosomes similar to vacuoles

They are both enclosed organelles which are compartments within a cell. Vacuoles are membranous sacs which are found in plants and animals cells. Plant cells their vacuoles are bigger than animal cells.
They contain enzymes, wastes, water, and food. A lysosome is a single membrane which is bounded by vesicular organelles which contain hydrolytic enzymes.
The lysosome is where damaged components from cell or food particularly which are engulfed by the cell which is delivered to lysosome which is listed to fundamental building components.
