How do organisms living in the marianas trench get the energy they need? sunlight reaches there and producers use photosynthesis in order to generate glucose necessary for cellular respiration. organisms use chemicals to mock photosynthesis and create stored chemical energy to be used later in cellular respiration. organisms are anaerobic and survive without oxygen. there is no life in these places on earth because life does not exist without photosynthesis.
