Personality plays important role in sports as mentality of a person is the most important and driving factor for a person in his performance in various activities he performs.Like a highly motivated person is likely to perform better or at least he will try to do so he try to improve his performance which raises the overall bar of the competition pushing others too. On the other hand a person with not so positive personality will likely to perform bad or leave the sport without trying.
