Compare neap and spring tides. give two comparisons in your answer.

Spring tide has nothing to do with the spring season rather; it is from the concept of the tide”springing forth”. This tide takes place twice each lunar month all year long regardless to the season.  Neap tide on the other hand takes place twice a month when both sun and moon are at right angles to the Earth. Either of the tides mentioned which happens at or  right after new moon and full moon when the sun’s tide-generating force in  similar direction as that of the moon, reinforcing it and causing the huge rise and fall in the tidal level.
