This is the process of copying dna to rna.

This is the process of transcription and translation. Transcription/translation is how cells read out, or express, the genetic instructions in their genes. In the first step, DNA is transformed into mRNA. Then, the mRNA is read and corresponds to an amino acid sequence in proteins! 

It would be meiosis, specifically transcription in which DNA is converted in mRNA. 

Based on the theory of central dogma, there are mainly two steps in the process of mRNA. 
1. RNA helicase separates the double helix by separating the nucleotides and breaking down the hydrogen bonds. 
2. RNA  polymerase (an enzyme) bonds loose nucleotides into a RNA sequence (AUCG) (*note RNA has U instead of T)  

This RNA is called messenger RNA, namely mRNA.
