How do your five senses allow you to maintain homeostasis?

The five senses in this case being;
1. Sight
Pupils dilate to regulate the amount of light entering my eyes.

2. Taste
Taste buds on my tongue enable me to distinguish what to eat by determining whether its sweet, bitter, sour, or hot

3. Touch
Helps my body to feel pain when injured, or when some thing is too hot or too cold or even luke warm

4. Hearing
Helps in the body's balance.
detection of loud noises, that determine whether its safe or not.
sound is transported to the brain for interpretation thus proper instructions are availed.

5. Smell
Can warn you incase of danger, e.g. fires or poisons
Using the nostrils, one is able to inhale thereby enabling efficient respiration
