Proto cell is made up of fatty acid memebrane which encompasses RNA ribozomes like wise true cell has cell wall made up of protein which encompasses genetic material in the form of DNA.

Like a true cell the genetic material of protocell i.e RNA replicases produces  copies of it.  The protocell also divide like a true cell though the division of cell wall and results into daughter cell with certain set of randomly divided RNA replicase.
