These will provide better production of food. Stoma on the lower surface of the leaf indicates that the plant us adapted to regulate the amount of water in the leaf. It helps to prevent to much water and also inhibits to much transpiration of eater. Not all plants have these kind of feature. Plants usually adapt to the envitonment to survive.
