Describe the difference between the retina’s two photoreceptor cells.

Location - Rod lies at the outer edges of the retina while cones lie in the fovea of the retina.

function - Rods produce visions in condition of low/dimlights while cones produce visions in bright lights. They are also responsible for color vision

Size - Rods are longer than the cone cells

Number - There are more number of rod cells than cone cells.
