to be more successful in Japan or the United States? Why?

Explanation: The major reason being the advantage and convenience it gives to customers in terms of ordering as well as pick up. Thisconcept is all about rendering convenience to its customers and ensuring they get the best quality product with excellent service. In the 7 Dream concept, the customer can order his or her requirements online which goes to Seven-Eleven. Once they receive the order,they prepare and store the order. The customer can collect the order from any of its store at their conventient time. This is an innovative concept which also provides many other facilites at its store like utility payments, credit card payments etc which becomes a one stop store for customers.

This concept from a supply chain perspective is more likely to be succesful in Japan rather than United States. The reason being, people in Japan prefer to visit stores and pick up their required stuff from the available stores. Japan has stores located for different products and customers prefer to physically visit the store. Whereas, in the US people are more willing to get home delivered products rather than visiting the store physically. This happens for most of the cases if not for all cases.
