There are a number of reasons why these initiatives fail such as lack of funding, weak measurements, lack of coordination among team members, and decisions based on speculations instead of evidence and facts. Such types of issues make it much more difficult for project managers to establish credibility for future projects. Ultimately, the accomplishment or effectiveness of the strategy concentrates entirely on the shoulders of the project manager, and he or she is held responsible for the final outcome.
