Most will recall this critical moment in the presidential debate: President Trump: Would you close down the oil industry?

Biden: I would transition from the oil industry, yes.

Trump: That’s a big statement.

Biden: It is a big statement. Because the oil industry pollutes, significantly… Because it has to be replaced by renewable energy over time.

Subsequently, after the debate, Biden realized his mistake and began to walk back his statement. However, there is too much evidence that what was said on stage is truly what Biden intends.

yeah, at that, Oil and gas exploration and production companies, or E&Ps, are slated to lose a staggering $1 trillion in revenues in 2020, which means that's a LOT of money lost, which means a LOT of jobs lost. As a member of a mainly oil industry worker family, I feel the pain most families within this... career cluster are feeling. My dad works in this area (he's a welder, which does count!) and that means he can't have a job. Which can possibly leave lots of families homeless. I know its too late.. but I'm hoping it somehow makes a change.
