Oct. 7 Paid office salaries, $2,000.
Oct. 8 Determined that the cost of supplies used was $1,150.
Oct. 9 Paid dividends, $2,800.
Required –

4. Determine the following:

c. Amount of net income for October.
5. Determine the increase or decrease in retained earnings for October.
