La estructura Organizacional se refiere a la forma en que las actividades de una organización se dividen, organizan y coordinan. Organizar y coordinar nos da cinco pasos fundamentales:
1 Hacer una lista del trabajo que necesita realizarse para alcanzar los objetivos de la organización.
2 dividir todo el trabajo en actividades que puedan desempeñar lógica y cómodamente individuos o grupos. A esto nos referimos como división del trabajo.
3 Combinar las actividades de manera lógica y eficiente. Al hecho de agrupar empleados y actividades lo llamaremos, departa mentalización.
4 Establecer mecanismos para la coordinación. Esta integración de esfuerzo individuales, de grupo y de departamento, facilita el logro de los objetivos.
5 Controlar la efectividad de las estructuras organizacionales y ajustarlas a las necesidades.
