Each orbital occupies 2 electron.

Subshells s contains 1 orbital with 2 electrons

p subshell contains 3 orbital with 6 electrons

d with 5 orbitals and 10 electrons  

f with 7 orbitals and 14 electrons.

Hund’s Rule says each orbital is filled singly first before we fill it up with the second electron in it.

Thus Hund’s Rule is also called as “Empty bus seat Rule” as the bus passenger sits and occupies alone in a double seat.
