The atom is composed of negatively charged electrons in a positive atom, embedded in it like raisins in a pudding (or pudding). By this comparison, it was that the assumption was called "Raisin Pudding Model." He presumed that the electrons were evenly distributed inside the atom, suspended in a cloud of positive charge. The atom was considered as a sphere with positive charge with electrons distributed as small granules. The main tool with which Thomson counted for his atomic model was electricity.

they it depends on if one believes about radioactivity, they make a geiger counter beep but maybe it was going to beep anyway electronics do wierd things all the time or it was programmed to beep near certain metals.
