Hi. i have a real experiment in fluid mechanics lab. i have a 19cm diameter pipe with air flowing in it. the velocity profile measured using pitot static tube is given by the equation: v = -0.0008*x^4 + 0.0367*x^3 - 0.5694*x^2 + 3.1673*x + 6.154 where v is the velocity in m/s, and x is the distance from the bottom of pipe. it is required to find the volume flow rate inside this pipe.

Liquid from a brewery fermentation contains 10% ethanol and 90% water. part of the fermentation product (50,000 kg/h) is pumped to a distillation column on the factory site. under current operating conditions, a distillate of 45% ethanol and 55% water is produced from the top of the column at a rate of one-tenth that of the feed. what is the composition of the waste "bottoms" from the still?

Scientists often have to deal with numbers that are either very large or very small. for example, the radius of the sun is approximately 696,000 kilometers, while bacterial cells are as small as 1.9 × 10-4 millimeters. express each number in an alternate form.
