Explain the basic principles of a distillation unit operation

 Distillation unit operation is the technique which are used to separate MVC (more volatile component ) from LVC ( less volatile component ) in chemical industry.

Distillation unit operation widely use in the industries and it basically consume huge energy amount in the form of heating.

Principle of distillation unit operation works at very high temperature in which huge amount of molecule get escape from liquid phase into vapor phase. It also archive certain amount of kinetic energy.

each chemical family is represented as a group or column on the periodic table. based on chemical properties, there are 6 types of chemical families. group 1 represents alkali metals, group 2 represents alkaline earth metals, groups 3 to 12 represent transition metals, groups 13 to 16 represent non-metals and other metals, group 17 represents halogens and group 18 represents noble gases.
