Ouch-up cleaning is carried out in a confined iso tank measured 22 m3. if 20 cc of toluene (mw = 92, sg = 0.866 g/cc) is used for cleaning and the solvent is totally evaporated into the confined space, calculate the mass concentration of toluene vapour in the tank at 25°c and 1 atm (760 mm hg). convert this to volume concentration in ppm and % volume. assume uniform mixing and there is no dilution ventilation with outside air.
b) repeat the calculation of mass concentration and volume concentration if the cleaning work is carried out at 35°c and 1 atm (760 mm hg).

Hydrogenation reactions, in which h2 and an "unsaturated" organic compound combine, are used in the food, fuel, and polymer industries. in the simplest case, ethene (c2h4) and h2 form ethane (c2h6). if 140 kj is given off per mole of c2h4 reacting, how much heat (in mj) is released when 12 kg of c2h6 forms?
