It is proposed to construct an integrated vegetable oil refinery in a coastal
industrial area which is about 5 km from any nearest town. water for plant
utilities will be drawn from a nearby river. the location of the river is in the
upstream of intake source available for the domestic water supply to the
nearby town. lts combined stream of waste water will be discharged into an
adjacent stream (tributary of the river) that flow into the sea close by. the
products will be exported through the single buoy mooring system 2.5 km off
the coast as well as by lorry tankers via the normal road for local supply.
