Somebody it is modeling the calvin cycle
btw i am using computer program

step1: if using a computer program, such as paint, to complete the calvin cycle model, open a new file and make sure to save it.

if building a model or using a drawing program, draw a large oval that fills the piece of paper or the computer file. this oval represents a chloroplast. on the left side of the chloroplast, draw and label at least one granum. label the stroma.

step2: if building the model or using a drawing program, on the right side of the chloroplast, draw a circle with lines from the center to divide the chloroplast into three equal sized, pie-shaped wedges. starting at the top and going clockwise, label the wedges as carbon fixation, sugar production, and regeneration. this circle will represent the calvin cycle.

step 3: if building a model or using a drawing program, choose which color will represent carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. make a key somewhere so that you communicate which color represents each atom.

step 4: if using a drawing program, create circles in three different colors.
you should have at least 18 circles of each color. these will represent carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.

step 5: if using a drawing program, create three carbon dioxide molecules. recall that carbon dioxide is made from a carbon with two oxygen atoms attached.

step 6: if building the model or using a drawing program, also make three five-carbon chains. these are your starting materials for the calvin cycle.

step 7: if using a drawing program, place the three five-carbon chains on the carbon fixation wedge.

step 8: if using a drawing program, for each five-carbon chain, attach one carbon dioxide molecule and strip off the two oxygen atoms. place the resulting three six-carbon chains on the sugar production wedge.

step 9: if building a model or using a drawing program, take each six-carbon chain and split it in half to make six three-carbon chains. these three-carbon chains are the building blocks from which glucose is made.

step 10: if drawing, label one of the six three-carbon chains as output. move the other five to the wedge labeled regeneration. make three new five-carbon chains for the carbon fixation wedge.
