[calorimetry] polyethylene fuel has been tested in the cone calorimeter and the bomb calorimeter. the results from the bomb calorimeter show a gross heat of combustion of 46 mj. kg? . the data logged in the cone calorimeter test is as follows: • baseline molar concentrations of oxygen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide: 20.95%, 410ppm, and oppm. • measured molar concentrations of oxygen, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide: 20.85%, 1300ppm, and 20ppm. • burning rate: m = 13 g. m-25-1 surface area: s = 100 cm2 • exhaust volumetric flow: ve = 24 l. s-1 temperature of the exhaust gas: te = 350k considering the data outputs provided above and by making any necessary assumptions: i. estimate the energy coefficient for oxygen consumption (oc) and carbon dioxide generation (cdg) calorimetry assuming stoichiometry conditions. [10 points] ii. quantify the heat release rate of the fuel using oc and cdg calorimetry principles. [10 points] iii. using the oc method, with correction for soot and carbon monoxide, estimate the efficiency of the combustion. [10 points) iv. using the concentrations of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, estimate the efficiency of the combustion.
