How does dry ice turn into carbon dioxide

Dry ice doesn't melt and turn into a liquid at all, compared to ice-cubes that melt into a drink. In fact, dry ice doesn't melt. It sublimates. This means that it turns from a solid into a gas. So in this case, dry ice turns into carbon dioxide.
