Consider the Diels–Alder cycloaddition of anthracene with maleic anhydride under mild conditions. Reaction scheme showing the Diels-Alder reaction of maleic anhydride and anthracene. A reaction was performed in which 0.42 g of anthracene (178.23 g/mol) was reacted with a slight excess of maleic anhydride (98.06 g/mol) to make 0.2 g of Diels-Alder product (276.29 g/mol). Calculate the theoretical yield and percent yield for this reaction.
