Describe how water resources have been damaged by humens.

Water resources have been greatly impacted by the use of salt and brine on roads, construction zones, and pesticides through surface runoff. Also, riparian zones (the vegetation around a water source) that help to prevent surface runoff have been cut down to make more room for development.
