Amolecule of atp contains adenine, ribose, and three phosphate groups. the bond between the last two phosphates is easily broken, resulting in a molecule of adp and one phosphate group. if the bond between the second and third phosphate groups were more stable, what would be the most likely consequence?
answer
a. more energy would be required to break the bond, so the net energy produced would be less.
