Nuclear submarines can stay underwater for months in part because they can produce oxygen for the crew to breathe via the electrolysis of water. The half reactions for this process are provided: 2H2O → O2 + 4H+ (aq)+ 4e-
2H+(aq) + 2e- → H2

Required:
a. Calculate the minimum current needed (in amperes) to produce enough oxygen to meet the daily needs of a crew of 10 people. The average person needs 0.840 kg of O2 gas per day.
b. Assume that 5.364 x 10^27 MeV are needed to power the submarine for a 1-year voyage. Based on your result from Part A, how much 235U (in kilograms) is needed for the submarine reactor to produce this much energy.
