A) Why is it important that gluconeogenesis is not the exact reverse of glycolysis? B) Name four allosteric modulators of glycolysis, and for each, state
(i) what enzyme(s) they modulate,
(ii) whether they are activators or inhibitors,
(iii) the logic of the nature of the modulator (ie, why would these molecules be used as allosteric modulators), and
(iv) if they also modulate gluconeogenesis and if so, how.
